As a not-for-profit organisation serving Perth's multicultural community, we offer culturally and linguistically tailored, personalised services that enable our care recipients to live independently.
We believe every individual deserves dignity and respect, regardless of background or beliefs. Embracing and valuing our differences is essential, as it enriches our experiences and helps create a more inclusive and vibrant environment. By actively recognising and celebrating diversity, we foster a sense of belonging in which everyone feels valued and empowered.
Collective Care Companions strongly believe that the ability to live independently, with appropriate support, is vital to people’s wellbeing and fulfilment – even more so for people who may face additional life challenges due to their language and cultural differences.
Our trained staff provide exceptional support to our care recipients, consistently adhering to our organisation’s mission and values. Whenever possible, we match each participant with a support worker who deeply understands their cultural background and is fluent in their first language.
We recognise that people from multicultural backgrounds often face greater barriers to accessing care. Collective Care Companions is dedicated to addressing the cultural and language requirements of all our senior Australians in need of support, as well as NDIS participants.
People from CALD backgrounds include those with diverse cultural roots. This often means individuals born overseas or with ancestors from countries where English isn’t the primary language. Both the NDIS and Aged Care use this term to better understand and support the communities.
Furthermore, NDIS resources are available in different languages, including: click NDIS Page
